Background:
Studio Tari Indra originates from Badung in West Java; their main aim is to preserve local tradition and culture. They succeeded in attracting the younger generation and getting them involved in continuing their regional traditions. STI received various local and international awards.
With the help of the Provincial Government and the support of Indonesian Embassies worldwide, the group performed in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia.
Further performances were staged at the World Expo in Canada, Japan and Turkey.

Laras Ragam Dance incorporates elements which have their roots in various local dances. It reflects a new dynamic, energetic and harmonious Indonesian dance style especially involving the young from all over the nation’s archipelago with its diversified cultural heritage.
